Coaching
Coaching is a pull strategy, pulling out the answers to well-structured questions, we don't give advice, it is a goal-oriented approach to personal and professional development. A coach works with individuals to identify specific goals and to create a plan of action to achieve those goals
Quality well-trained coaches can have little or no expertise in the coachee's field, rather than giving answers, we pull out the answers to well-crafted questions, where the coachee sells themselves on the quality of their answers.

Mentoring
Mentoring is what's known as a push strategy it's a relationship where a more experienced person known as the mentor provides guidance, support and advice to a less experienced individual known as the mentee. Mentors typically have deeper knowledge in experience in a particular field or area and can offer wisdom, advice and perspective based on their own experiences.
The goal of mentoring is to help the mentee develop their skills knowledge and resilience by sharing thoughts insights and knowledge mentors are often assigned to mentees or identified through personal networks and the relationship can be informal or formal
